Following an extended, laborious rehearsal season comprising 18 weeks plus a full-day intensive, the Monash University Choral Society is immensely proud to announce our next concert, Jazz in the Night!
A refreshing twist from our usual audience-in-rows concert, this event will be held cabaret-style, with table seating and an MC guiding you through the two acts of our show, featuring themes of dreaming, friendship, resilience, and love set to familiar show tunes and jazz/musical theatre songs (and a premiere by Chris Blain!).
Many a familiar face will be present in the wider choir, and we’ll have various small ensemble and solo performances to add some zazz to the show. The performance will also include choreography carefully designed by our Musical Director Joanna Brooke, accompanied by our beloved Filip Fulco and various instrumentalists brought along for this very occasion.
