The main work presented will be Faure’s Requiem, notable for not including the classic ‘Dies Irae‘ movement as is part of the requiem text. Other works to be performed include Ethel Smyth’s Sleepless Dreams, Eric Whitacre’s The Seal Lullaby, and Faure’s setting of Tantum Ergo.
These works will be brought to life under the baton of Evan J Lawson, who has been the Musical Director of MonUCS since 2023, and accompanied by Filip Fulco. This concert will also feature two soloists; Nicholas Dinopoulos – Baritone, and Teresa Ingrilli – Soprano.
