MonUCS’s camp is a key part of the rehearsal process for our S2 concert of ‘Stabat Mater’ – we’ll be doing what’s equivalent to four regular rehearsals across the time! – and is an incredible opportunity for choir bonding and lifetime memories. Our amazing conductor and accompanists, Lachlan McDonald and Zachary Hamilton-Russell, will be coming along to participate in the fun, running four rehearsal sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday morning, allowing choristers to really drill down into Dvorak’s individual interpretation of the classic hymn. In addition to rehearsals, our wonderful committee will be running plenty of entertaining activities, so don’t miss out on the fun!
If you can’t come for the whole weekend, there are options to buy tickets to stay for one night or attend just for the day of rehearsals on Saturday 10 September. Ticket prices are inclusive of accommodation and catering, but not transport to Grantville Lodge – the committee will assist in organising carpools for anyone who needs them. Additionally, if you’re worried about the cost of tickets, or if you have any other concerns you’d like to discuss with us, feel free to send an email to committee and we’ll work something out. Hope to see you there!!
